The Performing Arts Center in Springfield, which opened in 1993, is the performance home for six resident arts groups: The Frontiers, Ohio Lyric Theatre, Springfield Arts Council, Springfield Civic Theatre, Springfield Symphony Orchestra, and Wittenberg University.

Current Project

Local sponsors are raising funds to build a 20,000-square-foot addition to the center for classes, rehearsals, offices, and programs. A $500,000 appropriation in Am. Sub. H.B. 16 of the 126th General Assembly will assist with the expansion project.
