Cincinnati Art Museum

Cincinnati Art Museum

Facility

Located in scenic Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum features a dynamic art collection of more than 60,000 works spanning 6,000 years. In addition to displaying its own broad collection, the museum also hosts several national and international traveling exhibitions each year. The museum also offers extensive education and outreach programs for children and adults, and is host to concerts and other special events.

Current Project

The Cincinnati Art Museum is undertaking a multi-phase expansion and renovation project, which will integrate existing historic structures with innovative new facilities. The initial phase will focus on renovation of the adjacent, historic building that was the original home of the Art Academy of Cincinnati, as well as reconfiguration of some of the museum's existing spaces. The entire project will create a new entrance, public gathering spaces, education facilities and expanded gallery space, improve visitor amenities, and will facilitate increased operating efficiency. The project was appropriated $1.5 million in Am. Sub. H.B. 562 of the 127th General Assembly.
