A museum complex is currently being developed at Bradford Junction that will include a switching tower, replica depot, freight-dock "stage" for live performances, and a flagman’s shanty. A previous state appropriation of $100,000 helped renovate the exterior and interior of the tower, including restroom and utilities hook-ups.
A second appropriation of $30,000, which received Commission approval in February 2008, will help the Railroad Museum renovate an old bank building into a replica depot. Renovations will include roof repairs, signage, and exterior masonry restoration. The depot will include exhibits, a meeting room, and offices, and will be the starting point for the complex's historic tours.
