Known locally as the Arts Castle, this Anglo-Norman building was completed in 1854, and features a round tower and arched windows and doorways. The building functions as a community arts center that houses 10 studios, a gift shop, and administrative offices.
Improvement plans for the center are still under consideration, but are expected to include the installation of an elevator compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The project has two state appropriations totaling $140,000.
