Beck Center for the Arts
Facility
The Beck Center serves more than 65,000 people annually through its professional theater and curriculum-based arts education programs. The center consists of a 400-seat theater, a studio theater, classrooms, lobby, gallery space, and business offices.
Current Project
Various improvements were completed using an initial $100,000 appropriation, including restroom renovation, and box office and other administrative-area improvements. A second state appropriation of $100,000 was approved by the Commission in May 2008, and will be used to upgrade HVAC systems and to complete a roof replacement project.
