Cincinnati Ballet Center
Facility
The Cincinnati Ballet is a 43-year-old professional ballet company that presents locally, tours nationally, and operates its own ballet academy. In March 2005, the Ballet opened the new $1.7-million Mickey Jarson–Kaplan Performance Studio, an 8,000-square-foot expansion that includes a state-of-the-art rehearsal studio and a 250-seat intimate performance space.
Current Project
The performance space has received state appropriations totaling $900,000, including a new appropriation of $250,000 in Am. Sub. H.B. 562 of the 127th General Assembly, which received Commission approval in February 2009.
