Goodwin–Baggott Pottery began manufacturing ceramics in 1843, and was later functioned as a pottery supply operation until its closing in 1939. The structure is the oldest pottery site remaining in East Liverpool, once known as “America’s Crockery City.”
A state appropriation of $105,219 has helped fund roof and building repairs, and exhibit planning.
