Fort Hill is a nature preserve registered by the U.S. Department of the Interior as a National Natural Landmark. The site is home to one of the best-preserved prehistoric American Indian hilltop enclosures in North America. In 2001, the Ohio Historical Society unveiled newly created exhibits that interpret the natural history and archeology of the site. Other work has included building renovations, ADA-compliant upgrades, and site improvements. State appropriations for this site totaled $696,966.
