The Flint Ridge museum and park in Licking County interprets and preserves the site of one of prehistoric North America’s most widely used flint quarries. Prehistoric tools and points made of Ohio’s high-quality flint have been found from the Atlantic seaboard to Louisiana. State appropriations totaling $679,067 have been used for various building, exhibit, and site rehabilitation work, and for the construction of new restroom facilities.
