Fallen Timbers Monument

Fallen Timbers Monument

Facility

General Anthony Wayne’s victory over the British-supported Indians in the Battle of Fallen Timbers led to the signing of the Treaty of Greenville, which ceded southern and eastern Ohio for settlement. A $61,018 state appropriation funded the cleaning and preservation of a monument that was created by noted sculptor Bruce Wilder Saville to commemorate the battle. The work was completed in 1998.
