Historical Center - Online Portal to Ohio's Heritage

The Ohio Historical Center in Columbus was completed in 1970 to house the Ohio Historical Society’s central museum, archives, library and administrative staff.
Current Project
A total of $427,000 was appropriated in Am. Sub. H.B. 562 of the 127th General Assembly for a project that will use new technology to create a comprehensive virtual portal to the information maintained by the Society and by other organizations. This resource will assist people seeking information about Ohio’s past and about current efforts to preserve and interpret Ohio’s history.
