Chesterhill Union Hall Theatre
Facility
The Union Hall Theater has served the citizens of Chesterhill as a venue for speakers, actors and musicians, and as a movie theater and community center since 1908. The 325-seat theater occupies the upper level of Union Hall, with the lower floor serving as a library.
Current Project
Capital funds of $25,000 appropriated in Am. Sub. H.B. 562 of the 127th General Assembly will build upon the improvements to this historic theater already undertaken by local sponsors. Plans call for replacement windows, tin-ceiling repair, painting, attic insulation, and electrical and lighting upgrades.
