Apple Creek Historical Society
Facility
The Applecreek Historical Society preserves and displays the rich history and culture of the Wayne County community.
Current Project
The society is in the process of constructing a 12,000-square-foot Community Learning Center to house a community library, a historical library, small and large community rooms, an exhibit room, and a sound studio for recording oral histories with local citizens. The state has appropriated $50,000 in Am. Sub. H.B. 699 of the 126th General Assembly for the project.
